Blood Sugar & HCG Diet
If you had blood sugar level trouble in the past then you should be worrying about the same if you are getting into the HCG diet. The HCG diet can be divided into three phases. The first phase is called loading phase, the second stabilizing phase and the third phase is called as unloading phase.
In the first phase the dieter is asked to eat as many amount carbohydrates as he can. So in lay man terms you will eat every full meal till your belly is full. As the carbs intake increases your blood sugar level will also increase. Apparently there will be a spike in your blood sugar level.
In the Second phase you are restricted to carbs. For an usual dieter you will eat anywhere between 30 to 50 grams of carbs per day. The level is way below the usual consumption. As you get habitualed it your body will get habitualed to this sort of carb level.
Finally in the unloading phase you will altogether restrict sugar and carbs. So, in theory you will consume zero calories. Anyway by this time you will get habitualed , to low carbs in your system. Hence you do not have to worry about it.
